Combine Dubrovnik with blissful Bosnian countryside on a half-day wine tour from Dubrovnik.
From Dubrovnik spectacular drive up in the mountains overlooking Cavtat and Adriatic sea heading towards city of Trebinje, some 45 minutes drive, first stop to visit local farmers market to sample top quality honey local cheeses and more.
After that visit to Tvrdoš Monastery where wines have been made by monks since 15th Century, guided tour of monastery and wine tasting in their cellar. Later on visit to one more winery, tasting several wines with local parma ham, cheeses…Next, traditional 3 course lunch choice of “Peka” (Iron Bell) meat, fish or vegetarian of course with wine.
Please note that there is a dressing code to enter Monastery, no bare shoulders or miniskirts! Any cover will do, also Monastery lends some covers.
